The Schaeffler Group is a global automotive and industrial supplier. The Schaeffler portfolio includes high-precision components and systems for engine, transmission, and chassis applications as well as rolling and plain bearing solutions for a large number of industrial applications. The technology company generated sales of approximately 14.4 billion Euros in 2019. Together with her son Georg F. W. Schaeffler, shareholder Maria-Elisabeth Schaeffler-Thumann is continuing the lifelong work of her husband Dr. Ing. h.c. Georg Schaeffler, who died in 1996.
